1. Introduction
Who These Terms Apply To
These Terms govern access to and use of Jobcamp, a career support platform provided by Hirecamp Platforms Limited, trading as Jobcamp, for students, universities, schools, colleges, and authorised staff.
Institutional Access
If you are using Jobcamp through a university, school, or other institution, your access may also be governed by that institution's agreement with Jobcamp and by the institution's own policies.
Each institution is provisioned with its own dedicated Jobcamp web address — typically [institution].jobcamp.ai, or a custom domain agreed at onboarding. You must use your institution's address to access the service.
2. The Service
Jobcamp provides a comprehensive suite of tools to support students throughout their career journey.
Career Profiles
Build and manage career profiles. Parse CVs and resumes into editable profile information.
CV & Cover Letters
Generate and improve CVs, cover letters, and application materials with AI assistance.
Application Tracking
Track job, internship, apprenticeship, and graduate role applications in one place.
Interview Prep
Prepare for interviews and understand how your profile may fit a role or opportunity.
Job Opportunities
Discover and explore job, internship, apprenticeship, and graduate opportunities matched to your profile.
The platform includes AI-assisted features. AI outputs are suggestions and drafts, not professional, legal, financial, immigration, or employment advice.
3 & 4. Eligibility and Student Responsibilities
Who May Access Jobcamp
Users may access Jobcamp only if they are:
- Authorised by a participating institution
- Using that institution's dedicated Jobcamp web address (e.g. [institution].jobcamp.ai or a custom domain)
- Using an approved institutional email address or other configured access method
- Complying with these Terms and applicable institutional policies
Users must provide accurate account information and must not share login credentials with anyone else.
Student Responsibilities
Students are responsible for:
- Reviewing and editing AI-generated content before using it
- Ensuring CVs, applications, cover letters, and interview answers are accurate and truthful
- Avoiding upload or entry of unnecessary sensitive personal data
- Complying with employer, university, and platform rules
- Using the platform lawfully and respectfully
Students should not rely on Jobcamp as the only source of career advice. Where appropriate, seek guidance from university careers staff, mentors, employers, or qualified advisers.
5. Institution Responsibilities
Participating institutions take on significant obligations to ensure the platform is deployed lawfully and responsibly.
Access Management
Deciding which students, staff, cohorts, or domains are authorised to use the platform. Ensuring staff access is limited to appropriate roles. Telling Jobcamp promptly if an account should be disabled or access changed.
Lawful Data Use
Using student data only for legitimate institutional purposes. Complying with applicable education, safeguarding, data protection, accessibility, and procurement requirements.
Data Protection Compliance
Providing any required privacy notice, lawful basis, consent, or DPIA documentation for its deployment, and maintaining records of processing activities as required under Article 30 GDPR or equivalent local law.
Under-16 Consent
Where students are under 16, or under the applicable age of digital consent in the relevant jurisdiction, obtaining any necessary parental or guardian consent before enabling platform access.
6. Acceptable Use
All users must adhere to the following acceptable use standards. Jobcamp may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe these Terms, security controls, or the law have been breached.
Users Must Not:
- Attempt to access another user's account or another institution's data
- Circumvent security controls, rate limits, email allowlists, or tenant isolation
- Upload malware or harmful code
- Use the service to harass, discriminate, threaten, or harm others
- Use the service to generate fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful application materials
Further Prohibitions:
- Scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the platform
- Upload content they do not have the right to use
- Use the platform to process special category, safeguarding, or highly sensitive data unless expressly agreed with Jobcamp and permitted by the institution
Violations of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of access without notice.
7 & 8. AI Features and Student Content
Understanding AI Features
Jobcamp's AI features are designed to assist, not replace, human judgement. Users understand that:
- AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable
- Users must review outputs before relying on them
- Jobcamp does not guarantee job offers, interviews, admissions outcomes, or employment decisions
- AI analysis is not a final decision on a student's ability, employability, or suitability for a role
- Employers and institutions may have their own rules about AI-generated application materials
Where required by law or institutional policy, users should disclose AI assistance in their application materials.
Your Content, Your Ownership
Students retain ownership of the CVs, profile information, application materials, notes, and other content they submit to the platform.
By using Jobcamp, users grant Jobcamp the limited right to process their content for the purpose of:
- Providing the service
- Generating requested AI outputs
- Maintaining security and reliability
- Providing support
- Complying with legal and contractual obligations
Jobcamp will not use student career content to train its own machine learning or AI models beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the service to that student.
9 & 10. Data Protection and Tenant Isolation
Tenant Isolation
Each participating institution is provisioned in a tenant-isolated architecture, with its own web address and institution-specific database separation and access controls. Jobcamp will not knowingly make one institution's student data available to another.
Technical Safeguards
Jobcamp implements encryption in transit and at rest, institution-level data isolation, student-level access controls, server-side handling of sensitive operations, and abuse monitoring.
GDPR Compliance
Hirecamp Platforms Limited is an Irish company and GDPR is our primary data protection framework. Where student personal data is processed on behalf of an institution, Jobcamp makes a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) available in line with Article 28 GDPR. Institutions are responsible for ensuring appropriate data processing agreements are in place for their deployment.
Global Standards
GDPR standards are applied globally as a baseline. For institutions in other jurisdictions, Jobcamp also complies with applicable local data protection law.
11–16. Operations, Support, and Agreements
Staff Access
Authorised staff may access administrative functions only where permitted. Staff must keep credentials secure, access student data only where authorised, and follow the institution's data protection and safeguarding policies.
Third-Party Services
Jobcamp uses third-party providers for hosting, authentication, AI processing, monitoring, content delivery, and workflow processing. These providers are subject to contractual controls. Jobcamp is not responsible for third-party websites, employer decisions, or external application processes.
Availability
Jobcamp aims to provide a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, provider incidents, or security events. Material changes for institutional customers will be handled per the applicable agreement.
Fees & Agreements
Fees, payment terms, service scope, renewal, cancellation, and procurement terms are governed by the separate institutional order form or master services agreement. Where a conflict exists between these Terms and a signed institutional agreement, the signed agreement controls.
Suspension & Termination
Jobcamp may suspend or terminate access where a user breaches these Terms, continued access creates a risk, the institution requests removal, or the institutional agreement ends. Students may request account deletion subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Support is available at team@jobcamp.ai. Do not include unnecessary sensitive personal data in support requests.
17–21. Disclaimers, Liability, and Governing Law
Disclaimers

- Job offers or interviews
- Accuracy of AI-generated content
- Suitability of any role, employer, or opportunity
- That application materials will be accepted by an employer or institution

Confidentiality
Users and institutions must keep non-public platform information, security details, pricing, product roadmaps, and confidential communications confidential unless disclosure is required by law or authorised in writing.

If unresolved within 30 days of written notice, either party may escalate to formal mediation before initiating court proceedings.
